We’re taking on Shitbox Rally 2027 to turn an adventure into something that can make a real difference!

We’ll be heading from Cairns to Darwin over 7 days, tackling plenty of dirt, dust and whatever challenges are thrown our way — all while raising much needed funds for cancer research, support and prevention.

Cancer has touched all of our lives in one way or another — through people close to us, friends and family, or simply hearing the stories of those who have faced it.

We’re doing it for everyone affected by cancer, for those we’ve lost, those still fighting, those who have come through the other side, and the people who have stood beside them along the way.

In addition, we are doing this for a great friend and a member of the rally family.

Every dollar raised helps support Cancer Council and vital cancer research. Whether you donate a little or a lot, every contribution gets us closer to our goal and helps support those affected by cancer.

CAIRNS DARWIN 3,400 km in a $1,500 car SMASH’N REVERSE

Smash’n Reverse are driving a $1,500 car from Cairns to Darwin to raise money for Cancer Council

They're doing what!?

Shitbox Rally is a 7-day challenge like no other. Participants drive cars worth no more than $1,500 through some of Australia's most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It's not a race — it's a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.

Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that's all part of the fun.

The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way.

And when the day's drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day's achievements.

This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways — whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we'll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.
